“Voting is every citizen’s right and responsibility, and this post office is an easy location to drop off your ballot without even getting out of your car,” Vice Chairman Weekly said. “We are starting the ballot drop-offs at 2:23 in honor of Ahmaud Arbery who had been running for 2 minutes and 23 seconds when he was killed.”
The 2020 Primary Election is being conducted entirely by mail ballot in Clark County in an effort to limit interactions that could spread the coronavirus. Voters may return their ballots through the regular mail using the postage paid envelope provided with their mail ballot. Voters may also choose to return their ballot at any one of the drop-off sites opening at various locations throughout the area. More information about the 2020 primary election, including a list of ballot drop-off locations, is available on the County Election Department website at www.ClarkCountyNV.gov/vote.
Voters are reminded to make sure they follow all the directions in the ballot, especially the requirement that they sign the outside of the envelope provided. This signature will be used to verify that the ballot was completed by the voter.
County residents who are eligible to vote but not yet registered are encouraged to register to vote as soon as possible.
