One of the things I write most about in this space is all the great content we put together for Skye Canyon. Whether it’s a feature on an interesting resident in the community or one of the fun events that takes place here, we try to give you a good sense of how great this community actual is.
But believe it or not, this is actually a business for me and it wouldn’t be viable without the support from my advertisers.
So in this space, I’m going to address this. As you see, there are a fair amount of businesses who see value in reaching out to the Skye Canyon community in hopes of gaining new customers.
I would hope you would see value as well in knowing these companies value the Skye Canyon community enough to spend money trying to reach you.
One of the things I do is always reach out to my advertisers when I need a service, I can’t say I’ve used every one of my advertisers, but when I do need something they offer, I will always reach out to them first.
Case in point. Last month was time for my annual eye exam. In the past, I’ve gone to a specific optometrist. But this year, I’ve had Optic Gallery as an advertiser, so I made the change.
Dr. Erin Frillarte provided great service and even though my vision was slightly worse than the year before, she was still able to get me to 20-20. Optic Gallery also had a great selection of frames and I chose one that gave me a bit of a different look.
I guess I’m going to have to get a new headshot that show off these frames, so I’ll have to call photographer Ben Robertson at Silvertree Films for a new photos.
I use Chad Worthen from Vantage Pest Control for regular pest control services and I haven’t seen any bugs around the house, so I guess he’s pretty good.
Dr. Kelly at Kelly Chiropractic straightened out (literally) some back issues I had a few months ago and Green America Landscaping did a great job a couple of weeks ago with some new trees and refreshing the rock on my front and back yards just in time for a big family gathering we just had.
So please take a look at the ads and give these folks a call if you need the service they offer.
